Cart Gaze is a healthcare AI and automation studio in Austin, Texas. We put an AI receptionist on a practice's line, wire it into the systems that practice already runs, and keep patient data out of everywhere it does not need to be.
One industry, on purpose
Most automation shops will take any client with a phone number. We only work with healthcare practices, and the reason is the part everyone else routes around.
Handling patient data properly means a signed agreement with every vendor in the path, a clinic's records kept apart from every other clinic's, and being able to show afterwards what happened on any given call. It is slow and it is unglamorous. It is also the reason a practice can hand us the phones.
Four rules the
database enforces
A rule that lives in application code is one refactor away from being lost. These sit lower down, where a script cannot talk its way past them.
BAA-backed vendors
Every vendor that can touch patient data signs a Business Associate Agreement before it goes anywhere near a clinic. That covers the voice agent, the carrier, the database, the mail and the hosting.
Per-clinic isolation
Each practice gets its own schema and its own credentials. Separation is enforced by the database, not by a filter in application code that a refactor could quietly drop.
Opt-out that cannot be bypassed
Consent and opt-out are foreign keys and triggers in Postgres, proven across 44 checks. A stray script or a hand-run insert is refused exactly like the app is. One opt-out ends every category, which is stricter than we are required to be.
Minimum necessary, by default
The receptionist declines medical history, insurance identifiers and symptoms. It books, reschedules and routes. Most practices never need it to hold clinical detail, so it does not.

not do
Worth reading before a call, because these are the places where we will disagree with an agency that wants the signature more.
We publish prices
Every productized price is on the pricing page. Custom software is the exception and it is quoted after a scoping call, because a number invented before the scope exists is a number that changes later.
We do not show proof we do not have
No invented case-study percentages and no screenshots of software that has not been built. The work page carries what can be claimed and stops there.
We say which integrations are real
Some connections are shipped and running. Others are registration or scoping in progress. The integrations page marks each card either way rather than presenting the whole grid as finished.
You own what we build
Systems are built in accounts that belong to you. If we stop working together, the whole thing stays where it is, credentials included.

Cart Gaze LLC has been a Texas company since October 2023 and works from Austin with practices across the United States. Muhammad Qasim Hammad is its sole member and runs the builds. Velaire Health, the AI receptionist, is a Cart Gaze LLC product.
Texas HB 300 privacy and security training, completed through HIPAA Exams, an IACET-accredited provider, on 14 August 2026. Certificate #000042805515. It is on the page because it can be checked, which is the only kind of credential worth printing.
